Although I left the home based business industry behind a few years ago, I've recently gotten excited about a new concept that's actually geared towards helping EVERYDAY people achieve a little success. These are tough times and everyone is struggling financially. Unfortunately, many fall prey to the silly hype and empty promises found in a million places on the internet. As for the rest of my life, I split my time between my writing projects. For one, promoting my first novel, JUICE. After exhausting the daunting query process in search of representation from a literary agent, I did like many struggling artists. I finally gave up and produced the book myself. The choice to self-promote was not easy and it's a tough road. Any help from you and YOUR friends would be greatly appreciated.

Without fail, every comment and review I've gotten so far has been extremely positive. So I proceed with confidence - boosted by the growing number of people who have already given JUICE a big thumbs up.

After much research, it seems that more and more writers are being forced into "taking the bull by the horns" in today's literary market. Agents just aren't as open as they used to be and when they DO pick up a manuscript, it often takes years to see the light of day. After a year and a half of following the traditional path, it was frustrating to learn these facts. However, successful people have to roll with the changes. And that's what I've embraced by publishing my books on my own.

To help "promo" the book, I put a lot of free excerpts and comments on the Juice site. I also included a story overview with pictures to represent what the characters might look like. Check it out.

On the second topic, the sequel is still in the rough stages. I write as time permits around my many other projects. Juice II is shaping up nicely. Fans can join my Facebook Fanpage to stay on top of my progress and get first glimpses as the release date gets closer.

Originally, I had planned JUICE as a trilogy. I have enough in my head to fill three books, but no guarantees it will come out that way. The tricky part is getting the flow just right. And, including enough to keep your interest - while leaving enough out to keep you hanging on for the next one. Sounds easy. Trust me, it's not. It takes planning.
